📍Review Juzz 12
▪️Say Bismillah at the beginning of every action. It’s a source of barakah which brings about abundant goodness.
▪️Barakah means increase, abundance of something, to receive continually, to remain steadfast.
▪️Hasten in entertaining guests, do not do takaluf.
▪️Disclose a blessing only after it has become apparent.
▪️Allah protects the one who tries to stay away from fitnah.
▪️Trials are means of learning and maturity.
▪️Being a son or wife of a prophet did not benefit when they didn’t believe.
▪️Allah provides rizq to all creatures.
▪️Do not mention dreams to everyone.

🔸Shahru As Siyaam
▪️Fasting is the first ibaadah of Ramadan.
▪️It was made obligatory on 2 H.J.
▪️It’s purpose is to attain Taqwa.
▪️It’s a means of entering Jannah.
▪️A special door, Rayyan, in Jannah for those who fast.
▪️It’s a means of being saved from fire.
▪️The smell from the mouth of the one who fasts is beloved to Allah.
▪️The reward for fasting is with Allah.
▪️Siyaam means to stop. From eating, drinking, lying,
▪️Special fast is to keep heart free of all evil thoughts, feelings.
▪️Think of ways of removing worries and negligence from our hearts so we can achieve Taqwa.
🔶Juzz 13 Surah Yusuf 53-111
▪️Nafs inclines us towards evil, except upon whom Allah bestows His Mercy.
▪️Cry in front of Allah, ask Him for help.
▪️Shaitan beautifies an evil deed for us.
▪️After tawbah, do not even entertain the thought of the evil deed.
▪️Make dua to get rid of all the bad in us.
▪️Make dua اَللّٰهُمَّ اٰتِ نَفْسِیْ تَقْوَاھَا وَزَکِّھَا اَنْتَ خَيْرُمَنْ زَکَّاھَا اَنْتَ وَلِيُّها وَ مَوْلَاھَا
▪️Yusuf AS mentioned his skills to the king.
▪️In special situations, ( applying for a job) one can make mention of their knowledge, skills and talents.
▪️Knowledge of accounting and Trustworthiness needed for managing financial matters.
▪️Effects of good and bad becomes physically apparent. No need to mention it to others.
▪️If one has a certain skill, if needed, he should offer himself for Cause of Allah.
▪️Fulfill all responsibilities with Amanah and continue to enhance.
▪️Allah does not waste the reward of Muhsineen.
▪️Yusuf AS did Sabr in well, when incited towards evil, house of minister, jail,
▪️Sabr necessary to be Muhsin.
▪️Yaqub AS asked his sons to enter through different gates for security reasons and to avoid evil eye.
▪️Evil Eye (Nazar) takes Man to the graveyard and Camel to the Pot.
▪️Evil Eye makes one fall down from the mountain.
▪️Prophet SAW said: “Most of those who die among my ummah (followers) die because of the will and decree of Allah, and then because of the evil eye.”
▪️Seek Protection from Evil eye.
▪️Recite Al-Fātihah, Al-Ikhlāṣ and Mu‘awwidhatain (Al-Falaq and Al-Nās).
▪️اَعُوْذُ بِکَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ کُلِّ شَیْطَانٍ وَّ ھَامَّةٍ وَّ مِنْ کُلِّ عَیْنٍ لَّامَّ
▪️Prophets put their trust in Allah and we should put our trust in Him as well.
▪️Yusuf AS told Benjamin not to grieve for what the brothers used to do.
▪️Do not take grieve to heart.
▪️Focus on the good received from others.
▪️Yusuf AS remained quiet when his brothers accused him.
▪️والله اعلم بما تصفون , Allah is the Best Knower of that which you describe.
▪️Do not be judgemental.
▪️Muhsin do ihsaan with everyone.
▪️Adopt good character with everyone.
▪️Allah is the Best of Judges.
▪️Accept the decree of Allah.
▪️Sabrun Jameel➡️ In difficulty, Control our tongues, feelings, share grief with Allah.
▪️Move away from the place of grief.
▪️Share grief with Allah, not people.
▪️Allah gives Sabr to those who want to do Sabr.
▪️Do not despair of Mercy of Allah. It relieves anxiety.
▪️Accept our sins. The one who repents from sin is like he didn’t commit the sin.
▪️Same person or thing can be a source of sorrow and joy.
▪️Yusuf AS depended on Allah in times of sorrow and happiness. Sign of true Imaan.
▪️Makes dua to cause him to die a Muslim and join with the righteous.
▪️Adopt good company.
▪️Forgive those that caused us grief in the past and be a Muhsin.
▪️Story of Yusuf AS was from the ghaib and a proof of Prophet SAW being a Mseesnger of Allah.
🔶Juzz 13- Surah Ar-Ra’d 1-43
▪️Contemplation on the signs of Allah should be so we may believe with certainty the Meeting with Allah.
▪️But verily, your Lord is full of Forgiveness for mankind inspite of their wrong-doing. And verily, your Lord is (also) Severe in punishment.
▪️Have both, hope and fear of Allah. Avoid extremes.
▪️For each (person), there are angels in succession, before and behind him. They guard him by the Command of Allah.
▪️Allah has appointed Angels for our protection.
▪️Remember Angels are writing all our deeds.
▪️Avoid Haram acts that nullify the Protection of angels.
▪️Read Ayat ul Kursi protection from shaitan at night.
▪️Read 10 times after Maghrib for protection from shaitan.
لا اله الا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك و له الحمد يحي و يميت و هو علی کل شیء قدير
▪️Thunder glorifies and praises Allah, and so do the angels.
▪️’Ata’ b. Abi Rabah reported that he heard ‘A’isha, the wife of the Apostle of Allah (way peace be upon him), as saying: When there was on any day windstorm or dark cloud (its effects) could be read on the face of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him), and he moved forward and backward (in a state of anxiety); and when it rained, he was delighted and it (the state of restlessness) disappeared. ‘A’isha said: I asked him the reason of this anxiety and he said : I was afraid that it might be a calamity that might fall upon my Ummah, and when he saw rainfall he said: It is the mercy (of Allah). (sahih Muslim)
▪️We should also do tasbeeh.
▪️And unto Allah (Alone) falls in prostration whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and so do their shadows in the mornings and in the afternoons.
▪️Do Sajdahs willingly and with happiness.
▪️Rain water is life for earth and knowledge is life for heart.
▪️Being in the majlis of ilm will give taqwa life to the hearts.
▪️Hearts are the vessels for ilm and some have more capacity than others to hold ilm.
▪️Stay connected to majalis of ilm.
▪️Qualities of Men of Understanding, who take heed and will enter Jannah
▪️Fulfill the covenant of Allah
▪️Join what Allah has commanded to join
▪️Fear Allah and dread the reckoning
▪️Perform As Salah.
▪️Spend out of which Allah has bestowed openly and secretly.
▪️Defend evil with good
▪️Hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah.
▪️It’s necessary to connect with Quran and increase Imaan.
🔶Juzz 13-Surah Ibrahim 1-52
▪️Learn Quran to benefit Aakhirah not dunya.
▪️When one does Sabr and Shukr, he can see the signs of Allah and feel His Mercy.
▪️”If you give thanks, I will give you more (of My Blessings), but if you are thankless, verily! My Punishment is indeed severe.”
▪️Shukr is to acknowledge the blessing, it is from of Allah with humility, humbleness and love.
▪️One who doesn’t recognize the blessing, doesn’t do Shukr.
▪️One who recognizes a blessing, but not the One who gave it, also doesn’t do shukr.
▪️When Prophet SAW would see something he liked he would say,
الحمد لله الذي بنعمته تتم الصالحات
▪️When Prophet SAW would see something he disliked he would say, الحمد لله على كل حال
▪️Women need to practice more Sabr and Shukr.
▪️Fear of Allah is a sign of Imaan.
▪️Mention of punishment of hellfire for disbelievers.
▪️When Shaitan incites to do evil, seek help from Allah
▪️Before doing any deed, see if it’s a righteous deed.
▪️الشجرة الطيبة, Mumin is like date palm tree, gives benefit to all. His roots meaning Imaan is very strong and so are his deeds.
▪️Allah keeps firm those who believe in this world and the Hereafter.
▪️If we count the Blessings of Allah, we will never be able to count them.
▪️ Qur’an is a Message for mankind (and a clear proof against them), in order that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is the only One Ilah (God – Allah) – (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), and that men of understanding may take heed.

اَللّٰھُمَّ اغْفِرْلِیْ مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَ مَا اَخَّرْتُ وَ مَا اَسْرَرْتُ وَ مَا اَعْلَنْتُ وَ مَا اَسْرَفْتُ وَ مَا اَنْتَ اَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّیْ اَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَ اَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ
